These practices and techniques allow us to cope better with distress and difficulties, but also to savour life and develop much more of a sense of flourishing. Composed of 8 two hours sessions, an emphasis is placed on how to use the learning in everyday life. The training includes half a day of practice and involves about an hour of home practice each day.

Opened primarily for students and staff of Medical Faculty of Masaryk University. The left spaces will be offered to others within the University. This programme is designed for the general population without any psychological disorder or mental illness.
The course will be facilitated by Alena Lašková. She holds a PGCert in Psychological Therapies Practice (Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapies and Approaches) and is in her final PGDip year of training with the University of Exeter. She is currently a student of MSt in MBCT at the University of Oxford. Alena follows Good Practice Guidelines for mindfulness teachers in the UK and teaches under supervision.
